Any Reading Counts as Reading

As a Librarian, I've run into MANY people who think there is only one way to read a book. I'm here to tell you now, that is not true.

Audiobooks ... count as Reading.

Adults reading picture books ... count as Reading.

Graphic novels ... count as Reading.

This came to mind because I spent yesterday rereading one of my favorite graphic novels (The Rat Queens) and I felt so much joy in that simple action.

So if you want to read a graphic novel or a poem or a picture book and talk about it here ... do it. Because reading is about joy and what makes you happy.

Do the thing. Live your truth!
